Terms of Service
By using curevora.com or buying Curevora Manual Pay, you agree to these terms. They are plain-English. If something here is unclear, email info@curevora.com before you buy.
What Curevora does
Curevora Manual Pay is a checkout plugin you install on your existing online store (Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and similar). It gives your customers buttons that open Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or PayPal with the amount and order number already filled in.
Curevora is non-custodial. We never receive, hold, route, or transmit your money or your customers' money. Every payment moves directly between customer and merchant inside the relevant payment application. We are not a payment processor, money transmitter, or financial institution.
What it costs
- Install: starts at $500, one time. Final scope is confirmed on a free 15-minute consultation before any money changes hands.
- Optional maintenance: $10/month, cancellable any time, no contract. Covers updates when payment apps change their handoff URLs and one round of small tweaks per month.
- No percentage of sales. Ever. The fees you see in your payment app are charged by Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or PayPal — not by Curevora.
Refunds: if the install doesn't work on your store as scoped on the consult, you get a full refund. Just email us within 30 days.
Your responsibilities
When you use Curevora Manual Pay on your store, you agree that:
- You will comply with the terms of service of every payment app you accept. In particular, you will use Venmo Business profiles for commercial activity and not personal profiles, where required by Venmo.
- You will not use Curevora to sell anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
- You will accurately label products, prices, and recipients on the QR codes and pay buttons you generate.
- You will handle your own customer support, refunds, and disputes inside the payment app the customer used.
- You are solely responsible for sales tax, income tax, 1099-K reporting, and any other tax obligations. Curevora does not file taxes for you.
Member accounts
If you create an account at curevora.com/signup:
- Pick a strong password. Don't share it.
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Tell us if your account is compromised.
- We may suspend or close accounts that are used to abuse the service or other users.
You can delete your account at any time by emailing info@curevora.com. We delete account data within 30 days of request, except where law requires us to retain it longer.
Trademarks and affiliation
Venmo and PayPal are trademarks of PayPal, Inc. Zelle is a registered trademark of Early Warning Services, LLC. Cash App is a trademark of Block, Inc. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc. WooCommerce is a trademark of WooCommerce. Wix is a trademark of Wix.com, Inc. Squarespace is a trademark of Squarespace, Inc.
Curevora is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. We integrate with their public payment-handoff URLs the same way any other merchant tool does.
Service availability
We aim for the site and member dashboard to be up around the clock, but we don't guarantee specific uptime. We may take the service down briefly for maintenance, security patches, or platform incidents. We'll do our best to give advance notice for planned downtime.
The pay buttons themselves do not depend on Curevora servers at runtime — they're rendered into your store by the installed plugin and link directly to the payment app's URL. If our backend is down, your customers can still pay.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best, but we don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. We make no warranty about what payment apps will or will not allow your business to do — that's between you and them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Curevora's total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Curevora in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or business interruption.
If your payment app freezes or closes your account, that is between you and the payment app. Curevora does not control payment-app eligibility decisions and is not responsible for them.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Curevora harmless from any claim brought by a third party arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of a payment app's terms.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or use it to facilitate clearly illegal activity. On termination, the sections about responsibilities, trademarks, no warranty, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved by email goes to the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and we both consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Small wording updates we publish here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
